

Shaan Sengupta, played by Kapur, is depicted solitary in the mountains during a snowstorm and states that darkness just fosters greater gloom. In the Indian adaptation, Aditya Roy Kapur, the star of Aashiqui 2, and veteran actor Anil Kapoor will play these roles. Elizabeth Debicki and Olivia Colman also made appearances.

Hugh Laurie plays Richard “Dicky” Rope, a narcotics and money laundering expert. In the British version, Tom Hiddleston played this role. In a post-cold war spy story, a night manager named Jonathan Pine at a European hotel finds himself at the center of an undercover operation to bring down a notorious international arms dealer. The plot is based on John Le Carre’s 1993 novel The Night Manager.
